Description

The PES / PAV (Skilled Person / Instructed Person) course equips those who work on or near electrical installations — whether live or de-energised — with the theoretical and practical knowledge to identify and manage electrical risks and carry out work safely, in accordance with CEI Standard 11-27.

Schedule

  • Scope and field of application of CEI Standard 11-27:2021 and CEI EN Standard 50110-1:2014.
  • Roles defined by CEI Standard 11-27 2021 (URI, RI, URL and PL).
  • Definitions of electrical work zones and non-electrical work zones.
  • Managing non-electrical work involving electrical risk.
  • Procedures for operating electrical installations (functional checks, operational switching) and identifying professional profiles.
  • Procedure for de-energised working (earthing and short-circuiting, working earths).
  • Procedures for work in the proximity of live parts and for live working.
  • Managing emergency situations in accordance with CEI Standard 11-27:2021.
  • Practical exercise on planning electrical works (work plan, intervention plan, handover and return of installation).
  • Examples of electrical work carried out under CEI Standard 11-27:2021: electrical measurements, de-energised and live electrical work on industrial switchboards.
