CEPER guides the company through the entire process of establishing an appropriate environmental aspects management system, enabling it to achieve benefits such as:
- Demonstrating to clients adequate care and responsibility in managing environmental aspects.
- Obtaining environmental permits and authorisations more easily (Integrated Environmental Authorization, Single Environmental Authorization, etc.).
- Saving raw materials and energy.
- Enhancing corporate image.
- Maintaining good relations with the public and local institutions.
- Optimising cost control.
Operational phases
Preparing the environmental organisational chart, organisational letters and management and operational procedures in compliance with environmental regulations. In relation to legal obligations, these must standardise the company’s specific rules and implementation tools for the various areas to be managed under applicable legislation.
Reviewing existing legal documentation, with the preparation — where necessary — of a specific Employer identification act, as well as assessing the organisational structure arising from any delegations of functions and special powers of attorney from the Employer to subordinates (or the need/advisability of issuing new or different ones), and assessing management exposure/protection.
Verifying the environmental organisational chart to ensure all roles are correctly and consistently identified.
Preparing specific organisational letters to set out each function’s environmental operational tasks based on legal obligations, guidelines and the results of the environmental analysis. The organisational letters will be accompanied by the necessary implementation and control tools designed to facilitate the performance of assigned tasks.
Auditing
and Reporting System
- Defining the methods and flows for auditing, reporting and feedback across all implemented activities.
- Preparing and implementing targeted tools for each level to facilitate the management of responsibilities.
- Conducting specific training to explain in detail the obligations and responsibilities on the subject, as well as how the tasks assigned under the company system operate.
